homework 10 The Pearl ch6

The trackers is hunter . they could follow the trail of a big horn sheep in the stone mountains. They were as sensitive as hounds.


2.What is Kino's plan to destroy the trackers?

He want to use his rifle to kill the trackers and run .





3.What did one of the trackers do when he heard a cry the second time?


4.What had the tracker really killed?

The tracker killed Coyotito.


5.Why did Kino and Juana always pray to God?

They pray that they can get away from the danger .


6.How has the vision of the pearl changed regarding: the rifle, the wedding, and Coyotito's education?

it was ugly ,it was gray, like a malignant growth , the pearl destroy Kino 's family (his son) and bring unlucky to Kino.Finally , the pearl didn't sell out ,even his son was died and it bring nothing .


7.Did Kino win his battle against society? Why?

He lose every thing , including his family ,because his son was dead ,and he cannot become rich .


8.Why did Kino give Juana the pearl to throw away?

He know that everything is not important than his family .


9.How do you think Kino and Juana feel after they had thrown the pearl back into the sea?

I think they will more gentle and practical ,at least they do not live in a danger life .


10.What happens to Juana and Kino? Does it matter what happens to them? Why?

When they found the pearl , they are full of expect to become rich and they have many dreams , but finally , they lose everything include their son , everything back to origin ,even is worse then the beginning .

Homework 9 True happiness

True happiness can only be achieved by an appreciation of the journey that we are on . we have a dream , we give our self a target to achieve it , we need a long time to go to this step . For example , if I want to get a master degree , I need to spend four years time , or longer , I need to study hardly , to get a good grade ,then I will get a diploma in one minute  . For this target , I spent much , I achieve it now , but I am not just happy at this moment , is the experience , the four years journey , the memory ,if I was enjoy it I won’t feel it is hard ,if I dislike the process ,everything become difficult .

We always envy the people who are boss , who are famous .

For example the Pianist Yundi Li 李云迪,he playing piano very well , he spend many years to practice , so was he feeling hard ? Had he been failure ? I think nothing can be success easily , the article saying that life is always going up and down , like a rollercoaster , but people always give up when the journey become failure , but we need to know that if we never been failure , although we get success ,everything become disappointed.

The second one is talking about the student always to choose a career course is because everyone else is doing it.

I think it ‘s related to the first article , if we give a wrong target to ourselves , everything is become hard, if we like it , Naturally we enjoy it .

Not just about in university life , in our daily life , we always need to choose , once we choosing  impetuous , everything become wrong .We need to treasure every chance which is favorable to us , if we don’t , then we lose the chance and the other people get it , we need to know the life is short , and our dream is endless , many thing and experience is waiting for us , never saying that I will do it later , than time was going away.

Treasure every moment we have , don’t do something because of the trend and find our own life style .  

Homework 6 Who am I ?

I know there have some people don’t know who he/ she is . They alive idle , do nothing every days and waste their time . If they are not such this , they are busy every days , have a full schedule ,go to school, working , earn money ,etc.. But actually , maybe they don ‘t know why they need to do those thing .Maybe they only want to be rich , so they go to earn money ,they want to have a good job , so they go to university a get a higher degree .

Even many people don’t like their job or something they are doing ,they only want to get the salary to maintain their living , also every people want to be more rich then they work constantly ,when they have money they can do what they want , have a partner , wedding , buy house ,buy car , have children , get old ,and over their life .What a ordinary and depressing life. Actually , until they die , they do nothing even they don’t understand their selves .Or they know what they want but they didn’t realize it ,because they ar too easy to satisfy , they think it ‘s ok they can live like these .

But I know i am not the people like this . I have a dream , is go around to world , I want skiing at Switzerland , and I want have a complete family , and go out with them every weekend end .

That will make me happy already .

I don’t like stay at home and do nothing in the weekend ,that will make me feeling bad , at least I need go out . Anything , just like have a walking or go to market with my mother .

I ‘m a person who are value to the other people view of myself , I want to the people ‘s feeling when they are being with me and I will try to let my friend happily . But it ‘s make me tired , because I cover myself already . So I just improve myself to be better and alive with my character .

I love my family , I cant live without them , I know that my parents love me too , they want me have a better live , they let me to study , and give me many choose ,and they help me found my interest , is playing piano . Their cultivation , their care , I gratitude them , they are the most important in my life ,so I want to repay them when I be success in the future , give them a glorious memories
